A simple “#2 might be relevant to you” is enough.

Co-founder/Startup Search

  1. Zhi Ling (Founder @ Stealth) is looking for a technical co-founder with expertise in econometrics and marketing mix modelling to build infrastructure for launching real-world growth experiments autonomously, so companies can scale growth and brand awareness faster and cheaper. Multiple companies have already expressed strong interest.

  2. Rishit Kapoor (Founder @ Periscopic Labs) is looking for a co-founder at the intersection of ML/AI engineering and life sciences or pharma commercial strategy — ideally someone who has built NLP pipelines over biomedical literature, worked in clinical research, or sold into pharma R&D teams. He is building an AI/ML evidence synthesis platform with a working prototype and benchmark already in place, currently pre-revenue and preparing for early pilot conversations.

  3. Nick Foskolos Christodoulou (Founder @ Stealth) is looking for a technical co-founder — a full-stack generalist fluent in React, Node.js, and FastAPI — to lead the engineering transition from a high-functioning MVP to production-grade rollout. He has 7+ years working with 30+ restaurant brands including Burger King, Pizza Hut, and Caffè Nero, and is building an AI-powered profitability solution for the restaurant industry.

Job Opportunities

  3. Youssof Altoukhi (Founder @ YoYo Studios) is looking for an Operations hire — someone young, games-obsessed, and good at day-to-day project management. YoYo Studios builds games for the meme economy and has spent $400k in R&D on Meme Wars, a Super Smash Bros-style game with meme IP — currently mid-raise. £100k + 8% equity.

Fundraising

  1. Mariyan (Founder @ MoxyNova) is looking for introductions to VCs, angels, and grant programs to support a €2M seed raise. 2. Nathan Skene (Group Lead @ UK Dementia Research Institute; Senior Lecturer @ Imperial College London) is looking for introductions to angels, VCs, and grant programs to support a £3M raise. His spinout is developing patented technology and ML models to identify the protein-level mechanisms behind complex diseases—including Alzheimer's, Schizophrenia, and Diabetes—with a goal of enabling rapid, cheap clinical trials.

  3. William Nimbs (Founder @ PlayMade) is looking for introductions to VCs to close a £2M round at a £10M valuation. PlayMade turns parks and public spaces into measurable, high-attention out-of-home media channels powered by free sports gear.

  • Niccolo De Masi (Executive Chairman & Founder @ Ares Interactive; former CEO of Glu Mobile, serial gamer-founder) led a $70 million Series A for his San Francisco gaming startup Ares Interactive, backed by General Catalyst, to build cross-platform free-to-play franchises. De Masi has a multi-decade track record as a public games company CEO, having previously scaled Glu Mobile into a publicly listed title with hundreds of millions of players before founding Ares Interactive in 2024. 🏆

  • Tyler Edwards (Founder & CEO @ Overmind; former AI engineer at GCHQ, MI5 and MI6) closed a £2M seed round led by Osney Capital to build the supervision and security layer for autonomous AI agents, with participation from 14Peaks, Antler, Portfolio Ventures and Endurance Ventures. Edwards spent eight years building AI systems for British intelligence agencies — the same adversarial, zero-tolerance-for-failure environment that now defines Overmind's product philosophy: real-time behavioural analysis of AI agents before they act. 🧠

👾 Incoming TechGames

Pick one event. Forward this to someone who’d enjoy this.

  • Mar 26 | 🐑 The London Tech Catan Night #6 (London, UK)
A Swiss-style Catan tournament at Sequel's offices in Westminster — 3 games of 45 minutes, shuffled tables, single winner. The room is packed with VC-backed founders, operators, and early-stage investors from the London tech scene.

  • Apr 10 | ♟️ The London Tech Chess Tournament #5 (London, UK)
Swiss-style rapid chess (5+2) at incident.io's HQ in Clerkenwell, sponsored and equipped with food and drinks. Founders and operators who play serious chess — drop in, play your best game, and find people worth building with.

If you've ever wanted to be the person who owns a TechGames series in your city — this is that moment.

We opened the GTO Fellowship last week. Applications came in from London, SF, NYC, and cities we hadn't even listed. Reading through them has been the most illuminating thing we've done since starting this. And it's made us more certain: we want more Chapter Hosts, not fewer.

London Tech Chess Tournament - startup builders deep in blitz. No decks. No pitches. Just moves.

Here's something worth making clear upfront — we're not looking for one person per city. We're looking for one person per game. Which means the map has a lot more room than you think. The chess host and the poker host and the Catan host can all coexist in London, each owning their format, their crowd, their corner of the city. If your game isn't being run yet, that's not a coincidence. That's an opening.

What a Chapter Host actually is.

You become the face of TechGames in your city. When people in your ecosystem ask "who You become the face of TechGames in your city — for your game, your format, your crowd. When people in your ecosystem ask "who runs the best tech events here" — that's you. When a sharp founder moves to town and wants to find their people — they end up in your room. We back you with the brand, the playbooks, and everything we're building. You bring the city knowledge and the curatorial eye. Every great event makes the next one easier to fill, and makes your name mean something in your ecosystem.

This isn't a volunteer role. It's a positioning play.

Reading the applications, two things separated the ones that immediately felt right. Taste — the ability to feel when a room is off before anyone says it, to know one wrong invite doesn't add noise but shifts the temperature for everyone. And a plan, not a pitch — the strongest applicants didn't ask us what to do, they told us which three founders they'd bring first, which venue, which format. Not "I want to be involved" — "I'm going to build this, are you in?"

If that sounds like you, it probably is. We're also open to new formats — poker nights, chess tournaments, Catan sessions, debate formats, hackathon hybrids. The best formats will come from the people running them, not from us.

Not ready to own the room yet?

The Scout/Curator role is for people embedded in strong networks — accelerators, funds, universities — who are exceptional at spotting sharp people and getting them into the right room. Around 2-4 hours a week. What you get in return is real: warm intros to elite builders across the network, full access to all events across cities, and a front-row seat to how high-signal communities actually get built.

Tech Catan Tournament #6 - goated founders, operators, and investors trading sheeps & fighting for glory. 6 tables. One winner.

Onboarding is rolling for both roles — no deadline, no single cohort. If your city is on the map and your game isn't being run yet, you're missing the chance to own it.

We read every application personally.
